Objectives: To gain familiarity with the fundamentals of computer graphics. We will work our way through various material in the text, and explore techniques and methods in computer graphics. We will also work on understanding and implementing effective graphic presentations of complex information and systems (sometimes referred to as scientific visualization).

Grading: The grades for this course will be based on three components: written homework, a midterm, and project(s). Each of the components will be weighted approximately equally.

The work you do for this course will be your own. You are not to submit other people's work and represent it as your own. However, I do expect and encourage you to work collaboratively with others during the course.
